What I Will Miss From Summer Vacation....

I'm counting down the days now. Monday we start back for pre-service and a week after that.... dun..dun...dun...the kids return.

What will I miss?

1) Not waking up to an alarm. Although this is my alarm most days, she's good and will wait for me if I'm not quite ready to get up yet:

2) Sitting out in the sun just reading a book or a magazine.

3) Catching up on my Netflix-I fall so far behind during the school year.

4) Staying up late to watch really bad tv. I can take a nap the next day if I need to. Ahhh....naps!

5) Actually watching the news in the morning. Usually I will put it on when I'm getting ready during the school year, but I still feel much more out of the loop about what's going on in the world.

  1. I certainly will miss watching TV and waking up whenever I want as well! I too have been taking my dog to dog parks and this is something I will miss during school time. I'm also counting the days to return to work and setting up (13th). Best of luck :)

    1. Thanks Miss Pasqua! Yeah, my canine baby got a little spoiled-she may be in summer vacation withdrawal when I go back too! :) Thanks for commenting!

  2. This would be an awesome linky party! Have you thought of that? I don't know how to set up a linky party but if you do I'm sure that you would get a lot of participation . . . just a thought :) I am your newest follower.

  4. Ok, I think I agree with everything on your list! I loved getting up later, walking the dog in the morning, laying by the pool, reading, etc. I went back today and was thinking about how much I missed my couch! I think I just know I'll be super busy soon!

  5. Last summer I read a little to the children while outside on the trampoline - can't wait for summer to arrive again so we can do that again.
