Changing the World

So awhile back, I asked all my blogger friends to help me come up with a class book idea for January. I got some incredibly creative responses and was inspired to use this topic. Basically I asked them when they grew up how were they going to change the world. Lofty, I know. A colleague came in when the prompt was written on the board and said "you're changing the world?". Yes, we will! Well, we talked about many historical figures this year like Martin Luther King, Jr. and George Washington-they were all in Kindergarten once! I don't think they've used markers yet this year, so they got a little carried away with their illustrations :) :

  2. This is the cutest thing ever! Before moving to middle school this year, I did a similarly-themed assignment with my freshmen and my seniors. Some of your kids' ideas are a lot more inspired than the ones I had! Way to get them thinking about their future and how they can impact those around them!

    1. I would love to read what they would say when they got older! The future seems so far away for my kiddos-I have to laugh when they say "when I was little"...um, you still are little! :) Or this is the best day of my whole life! Thank you for commenting!
