My kids love the Miss Nelson series-if they aren't reading it from our bookshelf, they are begging to play it on Discovery Education. We talk a lot about ethics throughout the year and I thought this would create a good discussion. Is it ok for a teacher to trick her students, if they deserve it?! This is what they came up with:

Right because they need to pay attention more and need more homework.
It's wrong because she made them do more homework.
