Sometimes I read a story and ask my kiddos to write their own version changing one detail to see what else that would change about the story. Today we did:
I simply asked them to change the last word-to write their own "The Day It Rained....?" They actually came up with some really creative ideas! :)

What a creative adaptation. I love it and it makes me curious what my kids would come up with.
