Sometimes I like to do an open-ended art project just for fun (well mostly for fun, this one was tied into our science objective-we were studying plants). I just picked up a couple of bags of multi-colored pasta and asked the kids to make a flower with it. I just love doing projects like this because they come up with so many different ways to do it!
Some of them are so neat.
