Let's face it-kids today have a short attention span (as do some of the adults) :). They go home and spend hours watching instagram reels or tiktok videos. So I tap into that interest. I use short video clips to spark discussions about Kaplan's depth and complexity.
Today I have some examples for Big Idea. I give my thoughts on what I think the major theme is but of course, kids may have other thoughts. Could also be used as a writing prompt.
What is the big idea here?
