So the top of Bloom's Taxonomy now is the stage: Create. I try to at least once a week ask my kiddos to create something new. It's very challenging for them, but the more we do it-the better they get at it.
When we study insects I ask them to take what they learned about the insects-3 body parts, ways they protect themselves, ways they communicate-and invent their own insect using different kinds of pasta. Here's what they came up with this year:
