Multiple Perspectives is one of my favorite concepts from Kaplan's Depth and Complexity and there are so many ways to incorporate it into our daily activities. One of my favorites is to have the students write a letter from one character to another (we are actually also focusing on letter writing format in our language arts lessons).
We read the story Horton Hatches an Egg and I asked them to write a letter to Mayzie (I spelled her name wrong on our slide) from Horton. What would he say from his perspective on her behavior.
